E-Learning Course
 Quality
Trainer is a Web-based course that teaches you
statistics and how to analyze your data with Minitab.
It’s been enthusiastically adopted by companies
including Caterpillar, Cummins,
Baxter Healthcare, the U.S. Postal Service, Wal-Mart and

In
response to customer feedback, Quality Trainer now gives
companies the ability to organize their subscribers into
groups so they can easily manage their employees’
progress. Coordinators also can filter or sort by group
and create, manage or delete groups as needed.

Maintaining
Florida's Water
Quality with Minitab 
All
year long, people from around the world flock to
Florida's
beaches and waterways for rest and
relaxation. And while few of those vacationers are
likely to be thinking about statistics, the fact is
that Minitab has played a small part in protecting
Florida's
precious water resources.
For
more than 20 years, the Southeast Environmental Research
Center of Florida International University has studied
and monitored water quality in locations including
Everglades
National Park
and the Florida Keys.
The center's work has provided a basis for management
decisions for sustaining these fragile resources.
The
center's researchers wanted to use the enormous wealth
of data from all of their projects to develop a unique,
high-level view of the health of Florida’s waters—but
joining and analyzing 20 years worth of data collected
from hundreds of monitoring stations was a major
challenge. For that, the researchers trusted
Minitab Statistical Software.
